
Established 1918, Upwey Fire Brigade is a 100% volunteer fire brigade located approx 34 kms east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in the southern foothills of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges.
We are part of the CFA network of volunteer fire brigades operating throughout Victoria.
Our volunteer members provide 24/7 primary response to fires and other emergency incidents in the township of Upwey and surrounding areas including the Dandenong Ranges National Park.
The Upwey Fire Brigade provides a 24/7 response to fires and other emergencies within the Upwey and surrounding areas.
We also support other emergency services including Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police and VicSES.
Our team of volunteers provide a range of community support services including Bushfire Community Meetings and Property Advise Visits (PAVS).
These services are provided to help make our community a safer place for everyone.
Each year we run several events including fundraisers to help with the purchase of equipment and operations of the brigade.
Over time our key events have become an integral part of the local community events calendar.
